# Add-on seats

## Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

Breakroom's add-on seating sets consist of two major types: conference system seats and presenter seats. **Conference system seats** are designed to create or expand general seating capacity within [breakout areas](https://docs.breakroom.tech/running-your-event/customizing-the-conference-system-components/adding-breakout-areas) and [custom voice zones](https://docs.breakroom.tech/running-your-event/customizing-the-conference-system-components/creating-custom-voice-zones). Meanwhile, **presenter seats** are designed to host speakers in Presenter and Audience [voice zones](https://docs.breakroom.tech/running-your-event/customizing-the-conference-system-components/setting-up-presenter-and-audience-zones).&#x20;

Details about each add-on seating object can be found below. Please note that these furniture items are built with crowds in mind. You can [hide individual chairs](https://docs.breakroom.tech/running-your-event/customizing-the-conference-system-components/creating-custom-voice-zones#editing-voice-zone-furniture-items) within each linked set if you don't need all of them.

In order for this Toolkit object to work, you must have the Breakroom conference core components installed in the same Region. If you have uploaded a custom Region, you will need to [install these components manually](https://docs.breakroom.tech/advanced-tutorials/uploading-your-own-region/installing-the-conference-system-components) prior to setting up this object.

Unless otherwise noted, chairs, couches, and other furniture items purchased from the Sine Wave Shop will *not* work with the Breakroom conference system, and will function as decorative seating only.

Key features: The **Breakroom Add-on Stools object** features 14 seats in two rows. When users are seated, they will all face the same direction unless the seat orientation is changed using the [Region Editor](https://docs.breakroom.tech/creating-custom-experiences/using-the-region-editor).

Key features: The **Breakroom Add-on Presenters Standing object** features nine standing presenter seats—five displayed automatically, and four hidden by default. This means that you can [edit the object](https://docs.breakroom.tech/running-your-event/customizing-the-conference-system-components/setting-up-presenter-and-audience-zones) to add between one and nine presenter seats to a voice zone.
