Breakroom's Meetings window allows you to schedule events and publish them for your users to see -- even up to weeks in advance. Users can add your listings to their own schedules, and immediately teleport to your chosen venue when it's time to get together, saving you the hassle of teleporting them individually. You can also opt to make events invite-only, or open them up to a wider audience.
To open the events and meetings schedule, click on the "Meetings" button located in your bottom toolbar.
Use the tabs arranged along the top of the Meetings window to browse through the available events. The "All Meetings" tab shows you meetings happening right now, featured events, and popular upcoming events. The "My Meetings" tab displays meetings you've personally confirmed that you will attend, meetings you've been invited to attend, and any events you've created.
Click the "Enter" button displayed on live events to teleport directly to them.
You can also click on any event to learn more about it. If you're the person who scheduled the event, you'll see a button allowing you to "Edit" that event listing. You can click the "Enter" button to teleport directly to the region where the event is scheduled to take place.
To schedule a meeting or event, click on the "Create" button located in the upper right corner of the Meetings window. You'll be presented with several info fields to fill out, including your event name and description. To indicate where you want to host the event, click on one of the regions displayed in the horizontal "Select a room" menu.
Clicking your cursor within the "Start Date" field will bring up a calendar where you can choose the date of your meeting or event. You'll then fill in the event time and meeting length manually.
Finally, you'll need to decide whether your event is open to all or limited to selected users. To open your event to all users, check the "Public" box and then click the "Save" button located at the bottom of the window.
To restrict your event to specific invitees, you'll need to select which users you want to invite. Check the "Only Invited" box, and then click the "Select Attendees" button to open the Invite window.
When the Invite window opens, you'll see a list of all the users you've added to your People list. You can invite these users one at a time by clicking the "Invite" button next to each user's name. You can also use the search field at the top of the window to search for any user in your world. Each person you add to your invite list will appear in the "Invited User" panel.
If you want to invite members from an in-world group to your event, click the "Import From Group" button to do so.
Once you're finished selecting invitees, close the Invite window to return to the Event window. Make sure everything is correct, and then click the "Save" button. Invites will go out on the Breakroom platform, allowing users to RSVP to your meeting or event. Public events will immediately appear on the All Meetings tab, where you can use the "Edit" button to change your event details at any time.
You can choose the precise location where your attendees will arrive by using the "Select landmark" tool. To get started, first position your avatar in the area where you want to host your event.
When your avatar is in the right area, click the bookmark icon located above the mini map. This will create a "landmark" in your inventory -- an icon that serves as a direct teleport point.
Open the Meetings window, and follow the steps above to create your event. After you select the region where you want the event to take place, click the "Select Landmark" button. A window will appear, allowing you to choose the landmark you created. Click on it, and it will be saved.
Now when users teleport to your event, they will arrive at the exact location your landmark specifies.
