Introduction to avatars

Breakroom allows you to create avatars as diverse and unique as your users themselves. Learn how to pick a starter avatar collection, as well as how to edit your avatar and dress it for success.

Breakroom is a multi-person simulation that uses avatars to represent where people are -- and, perhaps more importantly, who they are. When new users log in, they need to be able to quickly and easily select a starter avatar and outfit. As people become regular users, they may want to customize their avatars in order to create unique representations of themselves.

To streamline the onboarding process for your users, Breakroom allows you to choose a set of predefined avatars that users can wear while they're starting out. When your users are ready to create their own custom looks and purchase new avatar components, you can still guide their decisions by using Breakroom's Shop filters. With just a few clicks, you can give your users access to an expansive inventory of smart casual and business attire, or even allow them to shop for casual beachwear or classy evening fashions. The choice is yours.

If you have access to 3D modeling resources, you can also upload your own outfits or individual clothing items for users to wear. This might be a unique set of "costume" avatars, or branded t-shirts and other merchandise related to your project.
