# Keyboard shortcuts

## Overview

In addition to the many point-and-click functions built into Breakroom, there are dozens of keyboard shortcuts that can make getting around the Metaverse a bit easier. [World Stream](https://docs.breakroom.tech/opening-the-doors/world-stream/world-stream-keyboard-shortcuts) also features variations on these.

## Toggle full-screen

To toggle between full-screen and windowed mode, press the **F11 key** on Windows, or **Command (⌘) + F** on MacOS.

## Toggle the UI

Press the **F9 key** or **Alt + U** on Windows, or **Command (⌘) + U** on MacOS to toggle the [user interface](https://docs.breakroom.tech/getting-started/ui-tour) on and off. This will also clear any [seat tags](https://docs.breakroom.tech/using-the-conference-system#seats-and-gestures) that may be hovering over unoccupied chairs—useful for decluttering Regions when you want to take [photographs](https://docs.breakroom.tech/exploring-breakroom/snapshots) or capture video.
