Audio streams

Breakroom's moderator controls let you set up a live audio stream for your event, or stream open-source radio to add engaging background music.

Audio streams overview

The Audio stream button (highlighted above) allows Moderators to enter a known audio stream address. This stream will then be played in real time throughout the region.

Region Owners and Administrators can access additional audio stream options through the Region Information window, including a menu of live audio streams.

Enabling an audio stream

To enter an audio stream address using this tool, follow the steps below.

1. To get started, access the moderator controls and click the Audio stream button in the panel that appears on the right-hand side.

2. A pop-up will appear. Paste your stream address into the provided field, and click Set.

Users can now toggle the audio stream on or off by clicking the Radio icon located in the bottom right corner toolbar. They can also click the Settings icon in the same toolbar (or press Ctrl + / on their keyboards) to call up the Settings menu. Here they can adjust the music volume independently of the other types of audio that might play in-world.
